Steemit is on to something!!! Im in!

Hey Steemers! I am new and on a mission to hit the 1K milestone for followers.

Here's what you should know about me. I love my City! I love the idea of crypto currencies. I also love new and exciting technology. The idea of a merit based system for blogging is fascinating to me. I can actually earn money the more people like and upvote my articles/pictures!!

My interest are web development and business. I also like traveling and movies. I live in Philadelphia and work a pretty boring 9-5. I lived in Korea for almost three years and learned a ton about the culture. I can speak a handful of words. My Korean comprehension is slightly better than conversational speaking.

My future expectations are to be able to travel around the world and document it on Steemit and other platforms. As of recent I've been putting in research and looking for viable ways to free myself from the ball and chain of institutionalized business arrangements..i.e the corporate job and generating income for myself. Ya know, starting my own business. Thats what all the cool kids are doing now right? Seriously there is a nudging/tugging in my soul that tells me to do my own thing. So here's to trying. How else would I be able to travel if I am tied down to a desk for 8 hours a day?

What else....oh I love going to the movies. At one point was was going like 3xs a week. I was big into indie movies at one point. I still very much like indie films. Just haven't gone to see any in a while. Maybe I should. Ever see The House of Sand and Fog? What about the Boy in the Striped Pajama's? Some of my favorite films. If you want to know what else I like to watch just hit me up and ask.

Im not really that into sports. However, the Eagles are killing it so naturally I am now interested. I guess you can call me a fair weather fan! We all know I am not the only one!

In my mind, I think of steemit as a movement. It's a very smart application that competes with youtube and reddit in many ways AND it is decentralized. I feel that steemit users are sophisticated enough not to abuse the application. I plan to post on here as much as possible. I like the convenience of having the sidebar of categories to choose from. Im really excited to be here.
