The Introduction of Aspiring Renteur

My name is Andrew. I've never done much with social media, but like most of you I am intrigued by the Steemit model.

I chose the name Aspiring Renteur on this platform because among my goals in life is to build a supplementary stream of passive income large enough that I have the option of not working if that is my choice.

I have been keeping track of my passive income since the beginning of the year, and I expect to report Q2 results in the coming week. My strategy includes 3 basic areas, a savings account, stock dividends, and returns from a real estate crowdfunding site called Fundrise. I finished up last year with a surpassingly modest income of about $0.19/hr for every hour in which I took a breath, and my goal is to finish up with about twice that amount of hourly income by Q4 of this year. I am posting here because I think I have things that I have learned to share, as well as much more than that yet to learn.

There is much more to come, not all of it financial as I am also a healthcare professional, a hiker, and a storyteller.
