Hi to everyone who shares my love of writing. I am Heidi. I am originally English, from North London, but in my heart I now feel a bit Nomadic. I live with my adorable daughter and our cuddly American Staffy in an artistically decorated house, in a beautiful village in Southern Spain. Not a bad place to be stuck! But stuck I am! So that my daughter may see her father and her new sister and brother. I would never go anywhere without my baby girl and I cannot leave with her. I truly would not want to leave, but trying to financially survive here, to make a living to provide for my child is getting harder and harder. The house is not ours and is soon to be sold. I practically re-built the house over 18 years and made it beautiful. After 18 years of rent payments and repair costs they now want us out so they can sell it.
In my dreams, I will one day own my own small house that I have been designing since the age of seven. It will be so beautiful. A forever home for my daughter and her children. A roof over my head when I am old.
Sadly dreams are made with money and I have none. So if it is possible for me to make some money on Steemit, doing what I love, writing, then the world will start to be a place of dreams for me.
I am currently writing the first in a series of middle grade, 12 yr+, books about a girl with a magic key. They will both entertain and edify. There will be 5 books in total. THE LEAF'S KEY SERIES.
I also have three autobiographies, half finished, on the back burner, and I am doing the final edits on a sexual, psychological thriller I wrote last year. TWO BLUE EYES.
Getting an agent is so hard these days, almost impossible. So hopefully I can express myself and get valuable feedback on Steem.it.
I hope you enjoy my stories. I do often write controversial pieces. I apologize in advance if I ever offend anyone, this was not my intention, but i do like to stir up thought. I like to question truth. I write with a strong voice, but please feel free to respectfully disagree with a logical answer, or add to my subjects in your comments.
I also apologize for any mistakes I make on Steemit. I am new. I know very little about Steemit. A friend just told me that i can write anything I like and have a chance of being paid for it. I hope this is correct. I would appreciate being told anything you feel I need to know.
