Time for that intro post I guess...

I've always hated that awkward time in classes or meetings where everybody has to introduce themselves, I either can't think of anything interesting to say about myself, or ramble on far too much. I'll try to strike some sort of a balance here.

I'm Vaughan, 43, married with a 5 year old son who has just started school. We live in a quiet rural village just south of Hamilton, New Zealand.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to cryptocurrencies, but the more I find out, the more I'm excited by the potential I see in them. I'm hoping to learn a lot more from people on here.

After I lost my job as a Flight Instructor a few years ago, I took the chance to pursue another dream of mine, and last year I completed a BA in Writing Studies at Waikato University. I've now started post grad study, but I need to wait a year before the creative writing thesis I want to do is available. I'm going to spend some of that time writing a novel, but when I'm not working on that I'm going to post some shorter fiction or perhaps the occasional poem on Steemit.

I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors, it's great inspiration for writing, and I'm going to share some of my favourite spots around the beautiful Waikato. I'm a big cricket fan too, so when the New Zealand team is playing again, I probably won't be able to resist a post or two about them.

I may think of other things to share, but I've rambled on enough for now.
