Hello Steemians this is a small story in my life, hope someone can relate and feel better :)

I am Varun from India and I think it is time to do this introduction :P

I am 22 years old and from India.

To start off, I am an I.T Engineer from a tier 2 institution with an inclination to Digital Marketing. Currently working as a strategist in a decent firm.

My life basically restarted after I had a gallbladder problem which led to a pancreatitis attack. This was when I was 18, I lost around 28 kg of weight, two years of college( i dint flunk, barely made it to enough exams to clear and pass onto the next year but I had learnt nothing!)

Took me one year to recover and be normal physically, and another one year to overcome the emotional trauma of this incident. I had been someone who never even had a fever for more than one day, so this was a huge blow to me as I considered myself to be strong but after losing 1/3rd of my body weight I lost my confidence, self-esteem and had given up on life...

I don't know what brought the change but one day I woke up and decided that an illness is not going to decide the course of my life..I started learning new things, reading non-stop got an okayish job.

After 3 months of working there, and a few freelancing projects, within six months I have increased my monthly earnings by 2 1/2 times and I am generally happy right now that I pulled through what was the worst phase in my life till now.

So guys, If you try hard enough, there is nothing that is going to stop you. The journey is long, make sure you are ready, it is never late to take your life into your hands!
