I am encouraged by your introduction, and appreciate your expression of values free people should all hold dear.

I direct your attention to this comment, which is self-voted by @berniesanders horde of bots in order to profit from censoring people. It is a direct threat of downvoting people that speak their mind. That threat has in fact been carried out. For months I have been targeted by this self-voting censor, but have not complained, and have instead made multiple attempts to engage them to enable rational discussion. My efforts have failed, and now this censor has begun extorting anyone that speaks freely in response to my own comments and posts.

While it is true that speech censored in this way remains on the blockchain, no credible definition of censorship limits censorship to complete eradication of information, but all consider suppression, changes, or threats to coerce limitation of speech as censorship. If you and Steemit truly stand for the values you proclaim here, I call upon you to end this extortion, profiteering, and censorship by using the downvote mechanism to prevent @berniesanders from profiting by this act.

If censors are able to profit from censoring the speech of users, and further actively extort suppression of any that would consider and engage that content, those values you proclaim are completely defeated on Steem.

On an additional matter, I have posted and commented voluminously regarding profiteering versus investing for capital gains, and that EIP is exactly the opposite of a solution for these problems on Steem. I have predicted Steem price will drop, market cap will further decline, and user retention become worse as well once EIP is implemented. I have called upon Steemit Inc. to prepare to reverse HF21 in the event I am correct and these harms come to be.

EIP and HF21 are going to harm Steem. Please prepare to stop that harm in a timely manner by preparing to rollback those changes that cause that harm. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
