I first encountered Steemit in libertarian circles but didn't give much thought to joining the platform. I listen to several podcasts and read articles/books regularly (Tom Woods, Peter Schiff, Jason Stapleton, FEE, Mises, Rothbard, etc), which sparked my interest in sharing my own ideas about liberty and economics. My first blog was unsuccessful because promotion can be time consuming, so the idea eventually was put on the back burner. After learning more about cryptocurrencies and blockchain, I came across Steem and remembered Steemit. It seems like a great way to combine blogging (that comes with a community of viewers) and my newfound interest in cryptos and maybe earn little money as a bonus. I'm excited to see where this goes and glad to finally be a part of Steemit!
