A THING OR TWO ABOUT BEING A TRIPLET

-You are born with two best friends for life -

I say that being a triplet is like a small world network, where our life paths, desires, dreams and goals tend to intertwine when we least except them to. It is a continual relationship that works on defending, loving, competing, connecting and sharing with one another.

My sisters and I are identical triplets. We have the same eye color, similar body weight, long hair, and our names start with the letter J. If you saw us together you’d think you were in the twilight zone. We like being out and about and getting asked all kinds of questions. It doesn't really matter to us if its repetitive or not, we enjoy when others are intrigued, and we get to be part of making someone's day. It makes us smile and laugh to ourselves when we talk about it.

Being a triplet has amazing perks; in fact we got free food and chocolate chip cookies once. We are favored in a peculiar kind of way, enticing curiosity in the people we meet. Sometimes people stare at us and whisper and try to take quick glances thinking we don’t notice. Others have the courage to ask for a picture or overwhelm us in a plethora of questions. When people ask us, “What’s it like being a triplet?” Being a triplet is just our way of life, we don’t know any other. But I’d say it’s powerful. I’d say it’s reassuring. I’d say it’s humorous and fun. It’s who we are.

But as much as we are alike, we are also different. And it is in this platform that my sisters and I have taken the courage to describe our adventures in its raw and transparent form. It is here, that you might get an insight to what it’s like to live in the world of triplets.

So….here’s what you might expect to see

In this space we plan to bring the world of Steemit all sorts of topics. We want to provide a blend of both our artistic and creative expressions with a mix of our engineering/financier mindset through topics such as food, trading, art, traveling, exploration, health, design, and our collective work of artistic flower designs, projects, and our wild and daring vegan journey. The idea is to give you stories and informative posts that will bring value to the community and our fellow steemits.
