My First Steemit Post!
Hello Steemit Fam!
I've been sitting here at my computer for a while now, trying to figure out how best to write an introduction of myself to you ['jeopardy theme-music playing'], but I think my best bet is to take some advice from NIKE, who in my opinion, has the best slogan ever: JUST DO IT. (Brilliant...every time I see it written or hear it said; fits so many life situations.) So without any further delay...
My name is Eric, and I currently reside in North Carolina. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and am an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. (GO STEELERS!) I will be celebrating 16 years of marriage later this month to my beautiful wife, and am the proud father of two wonderful daughters and three adorably delightful, and VERY ENERGETIC grandchildren. I am currently in Graduate School, where I am studying to become a licensed Special Education Teacher.

My interests...well; I like to do a lot of things: I love to write ( e.g., short-stories, poetry, reflection pieces; working on a book I hope to get done soon), and when I found out that Steemit gives its members the opportunity to write about topics they are interested in, passionate about and very much vested in, and allow them to earn some 'coin' to boot, needless-to-say, I was sold. I also love to draw, paint, do arts and crafts, read, collect comic books and listen to Jazz A LOT! (I play several instruments e.g., Trumpet, Flugelhorn and a bit of Trombone.)

When I'm doing these things, I can be found watching Netflix (recently finished up Season 4 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and am in the middle of watching Season 7 of Shameless ( That Frank Gallagher is an intriguing hot mess of a ball of conniving and insight!)
Laughter is like medicine to the soul" someone once said ( or something like that), and l like to infuse a bit of humor--sometimes biting--into my writing; as to me, it helps to balance out the seriousness of life that's thrown at us; sometimes a bit much, and at other times, too often.
This is going to be soooo much fun! I'm genuinely excited at the possibilities; thanks for having me aboard.

Welcome to Steem . This post helped me a lot with aligning of text and images. I see on your post there's ovelapping of images and text https://steemit.com/steemit-help/@krnel/how-to-align-images-in-steemit-posts-left-right-and-center. Gave you a tip anyway.
Good looking out! I had to type and upload everything from my IPhone, as I couldn't log into my account from my laptop,(it's the same password Steemit assigned me when I set-up my account) so I was all tilting my phone sideways and stuff and after a while of doing all that to see if my words and pics were lining up correctly, figured to myself [In my Bugs Bunny voice]: "Ehhh, close enough." But I will be taking a look at the link you provided for future reference. Thanks again.
