You are most welcome. If you don't mind, and I am pretty sure you won't, I will tell you as briefly as possible what is important in making your experience here a good one.
I have been here closing in on one year mid September, the key here I have found is to spend time meeting and greeting other new users. Unless a person comes here with multiple friends already on here this can be a pretty lonely place, so the best way is to put yourself out there and say hello to new folks like yourself.
Also go check the the different tags and read what people are posting about in your areas of interest, when you do make sure you leave meaningful comments that show you actually took the time to read what they have written, spam comments are frowned upon here.
You also only have a certain amount of bandwidth, so when you post make what ever you are posting worth the time of people to read it and worth using your allotment of space.
When you do find an area of interest you will also find that there are usually groups that have formed around those areas and they will have discord channels that you can get invited to join. Discord is basically a chat room type platform, but you probably know that already.
The key is to reach out to people, if you wait around for people to find you it will be a lonely experience and you will be gone in no time at all. People come and go pretty fast around here because they came here expecting to get rich quick with very little effort, it is quite the opposite it will take a lot of effort, and you will be lucky to get a few cents. The people here are what makes the experience meaningful and in time the earnings will add up. Best of luck and let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. I write a daily column called the Daily Dose, you are featured in it today along with two other new steemians.
Until next time, @sultnpapper
@sultpappper Thank you so much. The main reason why I joined steemit community is for me to express myself. Social media nowadays becoming toxic. I will kept my identity anonymous. That way I can express my thoughts and what I feel. I am not expecting to be rich in here. I am also looking for a friend who can listen to me. I really appreciate your warm welcome! I never expected that someone will take time to read my first post.
Now that you know someone will take the time to read and comment and you know the feeling that you got from it , go make three or four other people experience the feeling you got from this exchange. This place is a two way street, traffic is coming and going both directions, or at least it is designed to work that way. I'll check back in on you in the future, and feel free to stop by and see what I do on here as well if you care too.
