Let me introduce myself // Il mio primo post
Hi, let me introduce myself, I am new to the Steemit community,
I am Italian, in my fourties ,a family man, always looking for an opportunity to discover new places or beautiful things, may they be a new city, a photograph, a new music band or even just a fruit or delicacy I have never tried before.
I have traveled a lot, but have been living in Thailand for the last 13 years, and Yes, it is the the Land of Smiles.
I hope to meet interesting people on this blog, and I will share some of my moments of life with you all, so you can have a glimpse of this side of the world.

Ciao a tutti mi sono appena iscritto alla community di Steemit,
Sono italiano, sulla quarantina, padre di famiglia e felicemente sposato. Sono sempre alla ricerca di tutto cio' che e' bello, un oggetto, una foto, un brano musicale oppure magari solo un nuovo frutto mangiato per la prima volta.
Ho viaggiato tanto ma mi sono fermato in Thailandia ormai gia da 13 anni.
Confermo: e' il paese dei sorrisi - the Land of Smiles!
Spero di incontrare su questo sito gente interessante, e provero' a condividere con voi i momenti salienti di questa mia avventura, affinche' possiate scoprire con me la bellezza di questa parte del mondo e non solo.

interesting introduction that leaves me wondering how an Italian end up in Thailand from 3 years calling himself @themandarin. I would have gone for something it Ithailian :-)
well, it's a long story.. the mandarin is a nickname my italian friends gave me back home when I first started travelling to asia, more than 20 years ago
ah, maybe they expected you to pickup the mandarin language then. :-)

haha grazie!! the Mandarin sarebbe 'il Mandarino', e' un soprannome che mi hanno dato gli amici anni fa quando ho iniziato a viaggiare in Asia.
