My 2 cents for Day One Steemians | If You Support New Steemians, Just Resteem It.
Congratulations on landing yourself on the hippest and fast growing Social Media platform on the planet!!!
As you may very well know Steemit is the social media platform that allows you to post without censorship but be careful that you don't get flagged for posting poor quality content.
Here are my tips for you as you get started.
Write an 'introduceyourself' post to share a bit about yourself with the community. You can read other people's first posts to get the idea. A well crafted introcuction post will be a good start for you and it might just get you your first few followers and earn you some steem.
Aim to have really interactive and informative posts to get more upvotes and resteem. What you want is for a 'whale' (steemit member with high voting power) to upvote your post. Not only do you earn more from a whale upvote but your post becomes more visible and gains a bit of credibility.
Its important that you take time to understand the 3 tokens
> Steem - Tradeable tokens that may be transferred anywhere at anytime. Steem can be traded for bitcoins on crypto exchanges such as Poloniex.
> Steem power - Influence tokens which give you more control over post payouts and allow you to earn on curation rewards. The more steem power you possess the higher your author and curation rewards.
> Steem dollars - tokens worth about $1.00 of STEEM
Your Steem, Steem power and Steem Dollar balances can be found under your wallet.You are not limited to only creating new content, commenting on other peoples content can also get you paid especially if you offer useful insight that gets upvoted by other members of the community.
These are the few tips I have for Day One Steemians, I believe you'll find that the steemit community is really friendly and supportive. Soon posting here could very easily become a hobby for you as it is becoming for me and I look forward to reading your amazing introductions.
