Hello Everyone! I am a new Steemiter. Call me Tata

Hello beautiful people! This is me and my story.

_QxF_mZVYUU.jpg

Frankly speaking, I'm not sure what to write here and if anybody going to read it:)

Who am I?

Anyway, I am a Ukrainian girl living in Thailand and teaching English and Russian. Sounds a bit complicated, right? I know.

What am I like?

I love travelling. It might be not surprising (you will think) because everybody loves travelling. So I'm not an exception. I love meeting new people, seeing new places... and taking hundreds of photos. Yes, that's my sin.

Once I was travelling with a couchsurfer in Krabi (one of the most beautiful places in Thailand). Then I got a review from her. This is what she wrote about me "She is a very nice girl, but she likes taking pictures so much..." If you ever travelled with me, you would understand her pain.

I also like football (maybe this fact will be more entertaining). I was raised in a family where this sport was treated in a special way. My father and brother are huge football fans. I didn't have any choice...

And of course, one of my passions is writing. So typical, right? If I am here, I must love writing. I'm sure you do too.

So this is me. Call me Tata.

Tell me

P.S. I will appreciate any tips you have. Tell me if it's a good idea to bore you with my numerous photos. Are there any rules here? Is it better to tell some tedious stories about languages or a political overview of my country?

How do you use Steemit? As an alternative social network or the platform to earn money (is it really possible?)

( In case, you are so lazy to answer and want me just to Google everything. Yes, I did some research before the registration. Don't be so mean! :)

Share a smile and keep yourself happy!

How does Steemit actually work?

Oh yea, I have upvoted you and followed you. Many blessings!

It's great to have you here Tata. I'm pretty much a newbie here too and I haven't done a Introduceyourself post. But one of the best ways to be successful on this platform is to join a local steemit community in your country.

Just look out for top guys who on this platform that are in your country. Most likely, they'll have a whatsapp group that they use for promoting themselves and their posts.

Also, follow people. The more people you follow, the better your chances of being followed. That means more people will see your posts.

That's the best I can say for now... Welcome to Steemit.

Thanks a lot. Now I know that someone read my post till the end:)

I'm afraid a Russian speaking community is not very active and numerous here. But I will definitely try to find it.

And I'm already looking for interesting people to follow.

I appreciate your advice:)

I get the feeling. Most people comment without reading till the end.
But your post was too nice for me to stop halfway.
I'm also sure as the days roll by, you'll get more people to follow.

That's what I am afraid of:(

Unfortunately, people (including me) are too lazy to read now. Especially if they see something longer than... an ordinary comment consisting of 2 words and 3 emojis.

That's why it's even more pleasing to know someone actually read it.

Yea, the laziness is in the air. People are impatient, they just want to get the highlight and move on...They've got no time...lol

So what I do each time I write articles for publication is to put a number of headers. Even if the article is long, the numerous headers in it will give them hints on what I'm writing about. Just like I did in my own #IntroduceYourself post.

I see. I will try it:)

Okay dear...

Happy Tata girl. I'm Oatmeal Joey. Love your hat and your love for life and I was in Vietnam and you are great and lovely. I use Steemit as an archive of my blog, a collection of of what I write, collect, create, my art, my videos, and then I share it to Gab and Minds.

Thank you Oatmeal Joey for your nice words!

You are actually answering my question. I appreciate it! So as an archive. What about earning?

And I have no idea what Gab and Minds are.

Wow! You have more than 6000 followers :)

Yeah. So, I make some money on Steemit, maybe over $200 USD in 2017, that is last year, my first year on Steemit, and that might be better than nothing and it is a start. The other websites, like Minds.com and Gab.AI, are social networks like Facebook, Twitter, or more so like Steemit and has some money, as in cryptocurrencies, like Steemit, but Steemit is probably a little better at it currently in some ways at least for now.

Thank you for the information Oatmeal Joey. I will check them too.
