So I have newly become a manager of my parents cafe, It's been a busy year with the pressures of customers and staff seeming like an extremely challenging task to get through...

I remember my mates were talking about how some kids have enough "Internet coins" to retire from their jobs. As per facebook's advertising "spies", I'm sitting on my computer, scrolling through my social media feed and come across an advertisement on Bitcoin. I become intrigued and curious yet I wasn't dumb enough to fall for a "Too Good To Be True" scenario being played out here. I mean It would be nice to make money by hardly doing anything, seems like another white lie that I'll tell myself..

Although I remember how unhappy I was at my workplace and didn't mind some sort of extra income to replace the whole reason I was putting up with the stress. (Money).

Now I'm a goal setting man of course so here is what I do:

• Google: "How to buy Bitcoin", and after reading some reviews I decide to change my search methods,
• Google: "Cheapest exchange for Bitcoin"
• I decide how much money I wanted to put in to trial this craze and stick to a modest $500.
• A few weeks has passed and Bitcoin has jumped a crazy 15%!! I decide to sell for a win.

Now with this newfound confidence of the cryptosphere I then decide to invest my time and research into this community because I genuinely feel like this can turn into the only opportunity of my lifetime to create the freedom I've always wanted and dreamt of!

I quickly jump on google and youtube to look at videos of cryptocurrency but only see "clickbait" and nonsense from 20-30 year old investors. I was here to make money and realised I needed some sort of forum to talk about these different coins and see what would be the best one to invest in. Ofcourse I decide to turn to the biggest forum in the world, "Reddit".

After spending hours browsing through these posts and videos, I have now become heavily invested in this crypto campaign. I begin to learn the lingo very quickly and my confidence begins to takeover, Investing more coins and learning to take measures to minimise my risk and how to diversify my portfolio.

Now my level of confidence has become superfluous, the Bulls in this market seem to be making everything go up! I decide to go big on Bitcoin Cash while the forums are growing and the community is building. Then.. nothing happens. For a long time I search and search about the fundamentals of BCH and think to myself.. "This is faster than Bitcoin, it has to take over soon!" ...and nothing happens.. for another week I came close to taking my money out for a tiny loss and consider It over.

Right before I decided to sell, I check reddit one last time in hopes some news will change the tides! A user by the name of @PhiLakoneCrypto uploads his "Technical Analysis", at first you'd be sure it was just a bunch of lines mashed up together and (sorry Phill) an Asian guy talking about advanced mathematics and "Fibonacci". You think to yourself, wow this is a little too advanced for me.. 124A? B? Triangles?? Bull and Bear?? Golden what now???

He attempts to predict the price of Bitcoin Cash and of course you roll your eyes as he points out a ridiculous target. But in the experimental mood and learning journey I was on, I decided to test this number wizards plan. After a few days, when most of the crypto community was calling BCH a scam coin, this random guy on the internet with only 2000 subscribers just predicted a price move with almost 100% accuracy! I was in shock, an analysis with that kind of accuracy on predicting the future pathway was like a neanderthal finding fire.

Here is were I was introduced to the wonderful world of "Elliott Wave Theory" and "Fibonacci". Here is were I also found the master @haejin and by studying both of their FREE videos and the books they recommended to me, I have become amazingly proficient in a field I would have laughed at. The old HODL can work, and did while I was doing it. But if you're a competitive person and want to push yourself to the level of the top % of traders. Then this is the path you must take.

It has only been 3 months since I even looked at my first graph, my profits to date are mind boggling for a 22 year old, my losses (lessons) are also big but my attitude remains firm. I will become a great trader thanks to people like these and I would like to become a role model for other new and future investors when I have reached a level of true self proficiency.

This is both an introduction to me and a thank you to the unsung Heroes of Technical Analysis! To the people that are hating on this field, I wouldn't want to fool you. You really do have to work your ass off to understand what Is happening here. It might seem easy, these professionals quickly drawing charts and posting them like they have a team of monkeys behind them! But the reason why you shouldn't blindly follow these TA's is because of the quick and volatile nature of the cryptocurrency markets, to be a good analyst, you must take into consideration all possible pathways and narrow the most probably one that will give you your desired profit/results. I leave you an excerpt from the elliott wave bible:

"If you decide to attempt to do what only one person in a thousand can do - trade or invest in markets successfully - set aside a specific amount of money that is significantly less than your total net worth. Choose the Wave Principle. It will start you thinking properly, and that is the first step on the path to investment success."
