I will be uploading videos of my playing, and progression as I dedicate more and more time to my craft :)
I've been playing for around 12 years, I love blues, rock, and metal mostly! Very proud owner of a Gibson Les Paul Classic (2003 - 60s re-issue). After having a long few years of hardly playing, the motivation is back!
Experiences
Solo traveller:
- Living in New Zealand for a year - the best experience ever? Night sky? Absolute Wild Peace!
- Working in China - was it manageable teaching Engineering at a University? What was it like being the only westerner for 10 weeks?
- Muay Thai camps in Thailand - Harder than expected? I will talk about variety of these camps based upon what you would want! I can give advice based from my experiences, plus life in Thailand!
- Farm work in Northern California - Magical? Yes. Amazing? YES! Strange? Yes.... Living in a cabin with something trying to break in... Gulp.
- Returning to England after 2 years - Is it the same?

From my username, you may have guessed... I LLLOVE watching the sunset (and sunrise!).
Along with Music, I find this to be one moment in the day when the mind can be cleared.
I will be uploading and talking about many of my favourtie places that I have been lucky enough to be a spectator :)
oh yes... I'm still searching for that green flash! I'll see it one day!
More about me
I'm 27, have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I had never really wanted to study that.. I just took advice of studying a 'real' subject! I never really worked as an Engineer, but I am an 'Educational Consultant', working in Guangzhou, China, lecturing! 2 month contracts at a time suit me well at the moment.
Really, I have pursued a life of being happy with what I am doing.
I still love the things I have always loved, and that won't change :) Guitar, Cycling/motorbikes (2 wheels), Martial Arts, and creativity - drawing and writing. I have always like to stay in shape, mostly as my hobbies demand it haha!
Kindness is key! :)
Anyway, I hope some of you find some interest here - I will be active and check out as many of your posts as I can! :D

Wow you are very lucky! I spent 6 months in the North island, Mostly bay of islands, and bay of plenty, and then most of my 6 month south island in Otago - I LOVE it there! Which part did you live? I really hope to go back soon
Nice! At the moment I dont have a guitar we have just moved to Spain! My last guitar was a Washburn but my dream guitar is a Dean from hell (RIP Dimebag).
I grew up in Tauranga which is in the bay of plenty. Otago is a great place!

Depends what you call recent? 😂 iv been getting back into Mahine head cos they are touring here soon, as are black label society
Yea I just listen to all the older stuff I can't find any good new metal bands!

Thats awesome, how do you find seattle? I would love to check it out! I love the states, I've luckily seen quite a bit of the east and west coasts but need to see more! I would love to spend a good year travelling and working.

I had a black round back Ovation guitar. Seattle is below Canada and above California near the Pacific Ocean in the USA.

I have no idea its freezing and hasn't stopped raining for like 5 days.... hmm... life choices ey! I do want to go skiing tho and make the most of winter.... I say looking at flights to thailand haha!
