Introduce Yourself

So, as you hopefully welcome me, I likewise welcome you to my "Introduce myself" post. I'm guessing it's real function is to serve as an About Me page would on a website or a Profile page on some other social networks may work? We are a nosey lot, OOPS, I mean social lot, aren't we!

RIVER EXE TOPSHAM, NR.EXETER, DEVON, UK

I have read some "Intro" posts already to get a feel for what people write here and some seem to be complete life stories, whilst others are quick, down and dirty biogz and BAM! Done.

Me? I'll go somewhere in between me thinks. I ain't one for letting the whole world know my business and am of a generation that is/was pre tinterwebz and social networks.

I'm also NOT going to do a picture of me holding a Steemit logo and todays date for you. I am me, I'm real and you must take that as is... or not, of course! However I will pop a recent self-portrait or mug shot for you to gander at and arrive at your own conclusions as to whether I'm real or a product of Fakemugz dot com or some such thing! There is, it must also be said, a part of me that has always been slightly rebellious, non-conformist and if someone says to do it....well you get the idea? Rebel without a clue, perhaps? Does this bode well on steemit I wonder? We shall see.

And besides which, as an amatuer photog, I really do much prefer being behind the lens.

• Living and hustling outta Exeter (The real one in the UK!)
• Into Photography, walking out and about, around the beautiful Devonshire countryside where I live and currently trying to make an online living designing and selling T-Shirts, etc. Into music especially LA Band Sparks, (hence my handle!)

That, my steemin virtual friend, is ya lot! :-)

I'll end by saying I'm looking forward to the whole steemit thang, (although for a social network, there seems so much to take in and the learning curve seems huge!) Cryptocurrencies, blockchains, steem power, up and downs and Whales? Who would have thought it... It's a helluva long ways from the simple "Like" which I kinda liked!!
