Consistent posting and gaining followers is a good place to start. And once you get feedback from your followers you can adapt your blog.
Thanks. Did you find that keeping to one topic worked best for you, or has it been fine jumping topic-to-topic?
Jumping topic to topic works great, you will find more followers due to the diversity in content. You can judge how much your followers like it by the upvotes, comments, views and overall reaction to your posts.
Using alot of good tags is important too, helps you find new followers with new tags.
