Whats’ up BRO?

 

This is my first post at Steemit, so we may call it mine introduceyourself post. To be honest with you guys, I don’t like writing about myself. Like it or not I will skip that part (I may write more about myself in the future, but I have other plans right now). The one thing you should know about me is that I’m hooked on crypto coins, mining and everything else related to crypto coins. I made a hobby of it. Since there is almost a 1000 crypto coins, and most of them are unknown to average person (including myself), I’ve decided to do some research on those coins. When I find coin that has a good (or bad) story behind it, I’m going to write a post about it. 

In this post I will write about BRO. Did you ever heard about BRO or a Bitrad.io? No? I accidentally bumped on it few weeks ago. They have interesting concept, you earn BROs by listening radio. You can choose between 30,000 free radio station all over the world. Station are grouped by country, genre, topic, etc. If you used to listen radio on the internet, there is a great chance that you will find your favorite radio station on the Bitrad.io.

If you wish to get some BRO’s, you can buy some on the exchange. At the moment, you can exchange Bitcoins for BRO’s only at the Cryptodao.com. But if you would like to earn BRO’s, there is a couple of options. 

Crowdsale

There will be six stages of crowdsale. First two stages are already completed, and they ended with 1,000,000 BRO being sold. In the time of writing this post, third stage has been started. They are offering 2,000,000 BRO with no fixed price. This means that when the crowdsale ends, 2,000,000 BRO will be shared among all investors. The amount of BRO every investor will get depends on the percentage of the share that investor payed during crowdsale. If, for example, user #1 invests 2 BTC, user #2 invests 2 BTC, and an user #3 invests 4 BTC, than 2,000,000 BRO will be divided in a way that user #1 will get 25% (500,000 BRO), user #2 will also get 25% (500,000 BRO) and the user #3 will get (1,000,000 BRO). Stages 4 and 5 will also have 2,000,000 BRO each, and the sixth stage will have 3,000,000 BRO.The price after the crowdsale will be dictated by the market demand.

Running a masternode

If you have 2500 BRO or more you can run a master mode, which will earn you 0.5 BRO per block. The new block is created every 120 seconds.

Listening a radio station

Every hour 120 BRO are distributed among listeners. 

Example: if there is 1000 users listening radio at the Bitrad.io you will get: 120 BRO / 1000 = 0.12 BRO per hour or 2.88 BRO per day.Bottom line, you get paid for listening radio.

Refer a friend and earn BRO

By referring your friends, you will earn activity points which are later converted to a BRO. In order to earn BRO you have to share a link with your unique reference number. The link can be found at the Profile page - Refer friends tab. They have three levels: 

• Level 1: You will get 5% from every direct referred user.
• Level 2: You will get 2.5% from friend of your user.
• Level 3: You will get 1% from a friend of a friend.
