Monster: My First Post

I didn’t ask to be different.

Dark jet black hair.
Dark pitch black eyes
Pale white skin.

As you can tell, I don’t quite fit the norm.

The village people call me names,
But that’s nothing new.

Abomination
Atrocious
Vicious
Monster

I wouldn’t hurt a fly,
I swear.

But if they call me a horrific,
vicious, atrocious, monster...

Who am I to disappoint?

Hello! I'm samioli and that was my short poem "Monster" that I made a couple years back. I hoped you enjoyed it!
My real name is Tatiana and I'm a writer. I write poetry and short stories, and I plan to post a lot on here. I am currently in college pursing an Honors Liberal Arts Major and I aspire to be an actress or writer someday. I discovered steemit from my friend @meowgan.

      I forgot to comment because we were talking on Discord, haha. This a great first post, and I love the poem, with the dark twist towards the end. I've read some of your writing before and I know you are super talented, so as long as you stick with it, I know you'll do great on Steem!
