My Introductory Post -- Hello SteemIt!

Hello everyone. I am so happy I finally got in Steem😀

I am of Rivers State origin in Nigeria.
I'm 23 and single.
I love music, movies and photography.

How I Got In Steem?

In all honesty, I never did.. Or at least never wanted to. I guess Its hard to try to live in the 19th century when you've got a sister that's constantly trying to get you into stuff.
Well I'm lucky she got me into this one @lenifty. I've barely been a day on steemit and I'm already in love with the community.

Why I decided To Give SteemIt A Try?

The answer to this one is pretty simple. It looks fun!
I love pictures, I've seen a lot of really good steep shots on steem and I want to be a part of it. Also, the part where I get paid for doing simple stuff does sound really intriguing. 😀

What I Intend To Do On Steem?

Like I said in my really brief intro, I love movies. I watch a lot of movies and its why I'm sometimes called The Flixer.
On my blog here, I'll be watching movies and writing reviews, giving recommendations and generally just talking about movies. Because I love photography too, I'll be taking pictures occasionally and they're mostly going to include shots from a phone cam.

All in all, I'm just happy to be here and to meet new people. So what do you say SteemIt? Think there's room for one more? 😀

    I have some tips for you. First of all, I suggest to complete your profile. Go to "Settings" and fill all the fields that are shown in the image below, and then click "Update".

    Secondly, I have two guides for you that will help you getting started on Steemit:

    Thirdly, there are several awesome communities that help the Steemians, especially the newcomers along the way.           Hello safira02! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

          1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
          2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
          3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
          4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
