Intro to Self.... Hear One Mans Journey to Happiness

My name is Rapheal (Ra-fee-L), and I’m a father to 1 and a half right now (one in the oven) and husband to my long time girlfriend now wife for 7/8 years now (She knows better than me). Love them they provide me happiness, and just want to be great for them.

It’s been my long term goal to become an angel investor motivated by helping people realize their dreams through financial success and creating a portfolio of assets that I can pass down to my kids.

Even before I was a family man, This was something that I had been striving for, over the last 10 years putting myself in positions to grow, learn, and be mentored, just to get me steps closer to achieving that goal. After working doing door to door sales, business to business sales, all 100% commissionable total of 4 years, after working in the real estate profession for over 4 years with most of that time spent 100% commissionable, and also spending another 2.5 years in the financial industry. I’m ready now, all those years of experiences, hardship, doubt, growth, and simply throwing darts and seeing what works; I’m ready to share my story and knowledge that has developed over the years.

This site for me, i hope it to be my release, you may see some angry post here and there, some venting on days, but ultimately I just want to be informative and offer my advice to people struggling with application, execution, and the how to get to their goals.

Now don’t get me wrong - I’m still not where I want to be. And that’s not a cliche’ statement. I still haven’t accomplished all my business goals, and I have work to do to get to that Angel Investor status, but this will be just another step.

I really want to lose some more weight too, going from looking like an express model in college to looking like the Dad of an express model some years later.

Also, want to learn Spanish this year. It’s been on my to do list for the last 2 years and just hadn’t worked on it. This was brought even more to light from my recent trip to Dominican Republic when everyone thought I was native to there and assumed I would just know what they were saying. And with the world expanding it’s important for me to learn another language and be able to connect with more people.

As far as my other passion outside of business & family are my Detroit Lions. Yes! NFL foosball (Waterboy Reference). My home town team, my favorite team, I’ve even considered on more than one occasion dropping everything and becoming a NFL scout for them. As I write, I still think about it haha. But love them! One day they will bring me a SuperBowl Championship, and until then; you’ll hear from me directly what’s working and what’s not, with my team. Rings coming soon though!
