Hello steemit community!

My name is Rolandas. I am a man, madly in love with my homeland, Lithuania. I am always ready to defend it and fight for its freedom. In the district of a resort town Zarasai, where I grew up, there are as many as 305 lakes (!), therefore it does not matter which direction you choose – water is always nearby and everywhere!

I believe that you begin to live only when you find your place in this world. My greatest vocation, passion, life, hobby and so on can be put into a single word – a soldier. I am a soldier now and I am quite sure that I will be wearing a uniform till my last breath.

My path of a professional soldier began by becoming an infantryman and taking part in various international military exercises and missions in Lithuania and abroad. I had been a Military Policeman and now I fulfil my vocation defending my country as a sniper.

I developed a hardened fighting character in my childhood practicing all kinds of sports and taking part in various matches, such as basketball, football, handball and karate.

Here I play basketball in an island of Zarasai – you are right, we have an island! :)

Finally, I try to live by the principle that - you should never, NEVER, let anyone hurt you neither people, nor circumstances. You must stand firm and always move forward despite of any difficulties. This is my vision.

The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.
