About myself for Steemit!

Hi Steemit!

My name is Rez. I like posting stuff, travelling and I like to make friends with everyone. Soon I will post my adventures here. I'm so excited!

I heard steemit countless times but I was not able to make an account up until now. My former co-working scholar @ergiegonzaga introduced it to me and it caught my attention. That you just have to post something and share it to everyone, and I think this is my advantage, to post random stuff that I like.

I like to watch RomCom movies. My favorite color is black-ish. Playing volleyball is what I love to do. I'm the setter of the team back in my gradeschool and highschool days. I was a varsity player back then.

I also like taking pictures with anybody and anyone. Anyone or anything can be my subject. I am not a pro but I try my very best to have a good picture.

I dont have that much time to do what I love and what I like because of my work. I give myself a break sometimes, a break from stress and deadlines. Just like yesterday, I went to Simala, Cebu with the LOML. The Historic Simala Shrine located in Lindogon, Sibonga.

I want to know more about the world and I can't wait to explore Steemit. See you around! Thank you and God bless!

Hello rezz! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

Hello, Rez, and Welcome to Steemit.

"Random" posts, as you stated, are fine, but it's best to ensure a good level of quality for all posts. And since you like photography, that might be a good place to start on this platform. ☺

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.

1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
