People, for heaven's sake please pay attention to what you are upvoting!
Here are the criteria to check before upvoting an introduction post:
- does the poster already have a posting history that shows decent quality content?
- does the poster provide identity verification as a photo or video?
- is the poster a known person in the Bitshares or Bitcoin ecosystem?
- did someone in the know like @ned or @dan already upvote the profile?
- is the introduction post actually good, insightful, funny, original or just a botched up job?
To end up trending, a post will have to have at least one of the above, and only posts with several of the above will end up in the top rankings. If you vote on low quality obvious fake posts like this post, you are just wasting your voting power and diluting the positive effect your other votes have in promoting good content on the platform (and by the same token your own curating reward).
