Throughout my life, I have been fascinated with nature. Anytime that I found myself outside and it was quiet, I would focus on something, the trees, the sky, the sun, the grass, the water. I could sit and stare for what seemed like hours. Some of my more relaxed times were as a teen, I would sit on the front porch and let the sun hit my legs and I would just fall asleep. I wasn’t always aware of the time back then. Now it seems there’s not enough time and I have to remember to go out and get some sun. I’m on a personal quest to become more in tune with the universe and less with the world, if that makes sense. Right now, I realize that my life experiences, (whether I wanted them to or not) have shaped me. I have found others who were around during some of those experiences and have different views of how they affected me. For instance, they were sad about how I lived and the toys that I had. However, when this was conveyed to me, I explained that I had a different experience, those were great times for me, I wasn’t sad. I wonder if I have let my own life experiences cause me to predict or project someone else’s life experience. I’m sure I have. So how do I connect with the universe while still being of the world? Once I make that connection, will I still be of the world? I don’t know. So, my journey continues thru learning, teaching, my true history, food, family, friends, creativity, etc...
