WOW!

I am finally back on Steemit! After writing an average of almost a post a day for 4 months and 2,500 comments in that time, it has now been 8 months since my last post!

Amazing how time flies…..SOOO much has transpired in my life since my last post and I am grateful to see that upgrades for a healthy Steemit economy have transpired here as well!

When I first joined Steemit, the potential was awesome but it was right as all the easy multi hundred dollar and multi thousand dollar trending posts were starting to disappear. The value of steem was dropping and lots of people were complaining about the low value of posts and the constant dropping of $Steem. 

When I stopped posting, it was because I went on a very long adventure to South America to look into building a New Eco Village there (for anyone not aware I founded www.intothegardenofeden.com and we are in preparations for expansion!). We also gave birth to our third child, first boy and now a duel citizen with duel passports! We did all this in a third world country that we don't speak the language, without hospitals, doctors our own vehicle or access to almost any resources we are used to having here in the States. What an experience that was!

I always believed in Steemit, from when I first started researching it and even when the value of $Steem was down to under 10 cents, sometimes as low as 3 cents, I was using writing articles and getting $1 or even less for a post. Here is my first post ever of which clearly communicated the powerful potential of Steemit! Why Steemit is so important and even REVOLUTIONARY

The truth is that Steemit is on the Blockchain. We Steemians actually have the power to take Steemit into our own hands and make it whatever we want. The potential is endless and the foundation is quite strong. I am stoked to see that the value of Steam is the highest it has been in a year and that we have more active users than ever! This is a great testament to the dedicated participants in this community! 

This is just proof that we have the power and MORE incentive to invest our time and knowledge into this platform instead of some corporate slave machine like FB. In truth once I started using Steemit I declared I would no longer make posts on FB besides posting my Steemit Articles! hahahahaha and I have lived up to that very well. In the year since I joined I have basically only shared other FB posts and spent almost no time on FB whatsoever besides answering some messages and sharing Steemit articles!

We have also turned on hundreds of people to the potential of Steemit and even wore our Steemit Gear, here is our PeerHub account where you can get EPIC Steemit Gear for $Steem! (can see one of many posts of my Steemit Fashion Line here)  to festivals, fairs and shows around the country.  We have hosted Steemit Meetups (post about that here), been a part of Steemit conference calls and much more. 

So I have A LOT of awesome posts to share as I intend to get back into posting on Steemit. I will continue on with my Steemit Fashion line, and feeding people free sustainable meals, housing people and educating people with the proceeds! 

For this post I mostly wanted to catch back up a little bit, communicating how awesome this community is, that I always believed in and am ready to keep contributing to the health and wealth of this thriving platform!

I have thousands of photos from my travels in South America, lots of cultural interest as well as my growing children and family to post about! In a post tonight or tomorrow I will write a brief recap of the last 8 months and then will write more in depth posts about any facets of that time that YOU request.

I am super happy to be back and as always welcome questions and comments from my fellow Steemians. 

I want to give a shout out to some users who have been a very valuable part of this community and who I am excited to re connect with again as I get back into the SteemVortex!

@papa-pepper one of the most prolific and helpful Steemians we have EVER had here on Steemit!

@theprophet0 the youngest witness to ever be here on Steemit and has contributed lots of Steem to @gardenofeden of which is a truly noble cause feeding tens of thousands of FREE meals a year!

@kevinwong a smart and honest guy who has contributed SOO much to this steemit community an accurate list is almost impossible!

@acidyo someone who I have gotten along with, had some good conversations with and who has made a lot of posts with real value even if controversial, that helps set the standard for what posts of value have here in this community. 

@steemrollin the founder of PeerHub of which has so much potential to not only help the Steemit economy and value of $steem but to shift the economy of the world as a whole. Regardless of if PeerHub is the platform to do it or not the idea is sound and has the potential for  such power. 

@tuck-fheman haven't had many personal conversations with the infamous account but there are very few if any who have stirred things up more here in Steemit and who have a piercing intelligence of which is very difficult to challenge. 

@infovore u have helped so many people get exposure and brought the community together while being generous and humble. I know because u have treated me that way and have seen u treat many others this way too. I hope to reconnect with you and help make this Steemit Community better than ever!

@ausbitbank hope ur still keeping it real, challenging what needs to be challenging and bring sound logic and research to Steemit! Appreciate so much that u have done for holding high standards for this community. 

@pfunk though u remain infamous your actions have shown how much you care and live to your ideals. Your contributions to the growth and enjoyment of this community is great and I hope to interact with what you have going on now that I am back!

@benjojo hope ur still making those cool and unique comics and bringing the best out in other artists as well. 

@kus-knee looking forward to some love from my "old dog" friend hahaha

@roelandp Thank you SO much for getting the first SteemFest together, I heard it was amazing! Hope To make it this year and experience the awesomeness first hand!

@richardcrill thank you for all you have done to support not just me but @gardenofeden @shelliesmith and of course Steemit as a whole. U have brought so much value to this community. Not just in good content but a real genuine care for this community. I hope to be able help you make Steemit even better than ever!

@gardenofeden has been a big time contributor to the Steemit economy with not just a lot of valuable posts, but I also started a “Sustainable Steemit Fashion Line”, which we make available on PeerHub for steem. We also have many other items from our sustainable community available for steem!

@saramiller has been rocking Steemit with Epic Steemit Gear, Yoga Wisdom and supporting the expansion and well being of The Garden of Eden here on Steemit for almost a year now!

@everlove the biggest supporter in my life thus far and who has contributed so much friendship, joy and creativity to Steemit with all her art collaborations, photography and peaceful healthy wisdom!

I am super grateful for all the support I have gotten in the past every up vote helps even without comments or interactions. I have also read lots of valuable posts from users who I have not interacted with and that is another thing I love about this community. We need not be friends or even communicate to exchange value
