I found Steemit while searching for Bittrex alternatives that work in my country.

My name is Nino Pujalte. I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon based in Metro Manila.
Here’s my story.

I started out my professional life as a full-blooded orthopedic surgeon relying mostly on my surgical training and cutting skills. If something had to be fixed, I’d think of surgery first before anything else...

That was a long time ago.

Today, I do not have to don a surgeon’s cap and rely on just the scalpel to heal my patients. My work today does not rely on surgery alone but includes “patient-friendly” non-surgical treatments that don’t scare patients away. I am talking about cutting edge alternative treatments called Regenerative Injection Therapies (RITs). (http://prolotherapymanila.com)

RITs are injection treatments that help regenerate or “re-grow” new tissues to replace those weakened and worn out by trauma and time. RITs include: Stem Cell Therapy, PRP, and Prolotherapy.

People know about Stem Cell Therapy... especially the politics around it. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) rings a bell in people’s ears because celebrities like Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant and Kim Kardashian have had PRP. Prolotherapy is the least known – which makes it the subject of my initial posts.

I believe that my Steemit posts will benefit both patients and doctors.

My posts will educate patients on alternative non-surgical treatments for musculoskeletal problems. Doctors in their part of the world who do Prolotherapy will benefit from this.

Patients with joint problems, especially those with torn ligaments and osteoarthritis will be glad to know that regenerative injections, done properly, help grow new tissue that replace those that have gone bad. Prolotherapy, in particular, improves the patient’s quality of life by easing pain and strengthening the weak and failing ligaments around the joint.

Patients from all over come to my clinics for RITs, especially Prolotherapy treatments. It is because of this following and my brand of Prolotherapy that I am often asked to share my “secrets”. Healthcare professionals from all-over our country and several Europe-based health practitioners have come to see me for training.

I am new to Steemit and it is not clear to me yet if it is okay to do technical in-depth teaching posts showing needles and blood, but I hope that the Steemit community will tell me how to go about it. What is important is that I begin now.
