My Introduction to Steemit

Hello Steemians!

My name is Ronnie Cabreros Jr and I'm on my mid 20's. I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines but we moved to Globe, AZ,USA back in 2009. Me and my family lived there for over 7 years, but I decided to come back here the Philippines for a reason. I have an Associate Degree in computer but I'm back to school again. I want to pursue my education further. It is my dream to get a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, hoping that It would help me get a good career in the future. This is mainly the reason why I joined Steemit, to learn new stuff from other people's blog and earn little money for my schooling at the same time.

MY FAMILY
The above photo is our family picture (I'm the one on the far left of the photo). I am the third oldest of four siblings. I have three brothers. My two brother are already married, in fact, the photo above was taken after the wedding of my brother in 2017. And the two beautiful ladies in the middle are the new members of the family, my sisters-in-law. Ohh.. and let's not forget my cute little nephew, her name is Gabby.

MY HOBBIES
My hobbies include reading, watching (animes, movies, documentary, NatGeo Wild, etc), listeing to accoustic music, and outdoor activities like hiking.

YES! I LOVE HIKING! These are just some of my hiking photos when I was living in Arizona. I will share more of my exciting adventures in my future posts.

This is it for now. I'm hoping to learn more and make new friends here in Steemit. Thank you for taking time to read my short introduction.

Hello pororo21! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
