Thank You Steemit! My Journey With Steemit Finally Begins!

First of all, thank you steemit for allowing me to join in this fantastic vast community.

I am Picon Kayal from Kolkata, India. Currently, I am studying in 12th grade. Today I will tell you about my story.
My family and I live on rent because we cannot afford to buy a house due to financial reasons. That's why since 8th grade I am helping my mom and dad financially by doing some side work after school. We are surviving like this since past three years. Often my friends and other peoples used to ask me why I am wearing same clothes every day but I couldn't say anything because I know if I tell them they will laugh because no one likes to be friends with poor peoples.

Since childhood, I liked to draw very much. Back then I did not know what art is, but I used to draw everything which was in front me. When our school teacher asked me what I will do in future as a profession, I said I would be an artist with joy, but now all the happiness and passion towards drawing and sketching has gone because of my families current situation. After returning from school and work, I barely had time to draw anything.

But last month I quit the side job and decided to focus on my sketching. Because drawing is something that drives me crazy. I can draw all day long. So, I told my parents that I want to pursue my career as an artist. They listened and said if the drawing is something where your heart belongs then go for it and we will try to help you as much can. After hearing this, I was delighted.
