Hello World, I'm Pete.

I'm a programmer from Wakefield Yorkshire and I've been on Steemit for about 2 weeks now, I love it.

I'm normally quite an introverted person but that would be boring for you to read about so I'll try and share a bit about myself with you. I was an only child till I was 29 then I discovered that in fact I was the oldest of 7 siblings, that was a bit of a shock I don't mind telling you. I've only met two of them so far as the last few are a bit young I think to find out about a hidden relative, my sister Freya and brother Aaron are both really cool though and I'm very glad I met them.

I play piano and guitar, I was in a band for a while too, we were called "Jolean and the Rich T's". That was a very fun time in my life but I get way too nervous playing in front of a room full of people to really enjoy performing, I just remember a huge wave of relief hitting me when I could get down off the stage. I still write music though, I helped one of my friends make an animation for her degree which won a national award.

That video even got played in the animation tent at Glastonbury so technically I played there too, or so I keep telling people.

I'm a huge nerd and love all things fantasy and sci-fi as well as maths and the sciences and have really been getting into the philosophy section here on steemit.

I started a blog on here to document the progress for the computer game I'm making, Here's a link to part 1 if you're interested. Well that's me summed up in a few paragraphs, I look forward to reading your articles. :)
