Peaceful Presents Introduction

in #introduceyourself8 years ago (edited)

I am most interested in holding a vision of peace for the planet and supporting others in their healing through my Reiki practice. I spend a lot of time meditating, and I have psychic abilities. I teach people how to heal with Reiki and how to access their intuition and connect with their spirit guides. I also love nature and support environmentalism, holistic health, and human freedom. I think we are a human family!

I have been able to heal myself (with the help of the Holy Spirit) and this is a miracle in my life. At age 27, pains in my body made me stop walking, and I was bedridden, needing others to bring water to my lips. I went from healthy and normal to wheelchair-bound and had to drop out of my master's program in water resources (but I did study international water policy and learned a lot about natural resource management)...

Now at age 31, I no longer need a cane nor a wheelchair... I can lift things and move about... I have experienced deep inner healing from painful traumas and emotions I had not addressed... And I have been one year off all pharmaceutical medications, and feeling better and better each day! And don't get me started on that predatory healthcare model...

My rheumatologist did not even realize I actually had Lyme disease in addition to rheumatoid arthritis... I cured the Lyme disease with natural herbs and supplements thanks to a wonderful doctor who uses the wisdom of my own body -- with kinesiology. THAT was causing the pain... but this rheumatologist made me think I was doomed to get worse (that's what he told me when I dropped him) and needed his medicine to function (but my own intuition told me I'd feel much better without those prescriptions).

I'm into goddess spirituality, shamanism, and history -- race/class/gender. I have a master's in history and focused on radical movements, spirituality, slavery, race, women's history, prison. I was exposed to radical thought after college as a volunteer at the Lucy Parsons Center radical collective in Boston. I read books and journals from anarchists, communists, socialists, Marxists, feminists, and so many other, plus saw many radical films during my time there. Authors like Noam Chomsky helped me realize real history is never taught in schools. Later John Gatto helped me see schools were actually modeled in a way that enforces a hierachy... And of course I discovered the idea of proletariat and bourgeoisie... And now I see divide and conquer and the illusion that war and violence are necessary everywhere.

I believe in peace and nonviolence and honor our ancestors such as Martin Luther King, Lucy Stone (my actual ancestor and an abolitionist, the first woman not to take her husband's name in marriage) and the generations of activists who have empowered us and transformed our society to bring us the freedoms we currently enjoy.

I pray that these freedoms expand and multiply for worldwide peace and prosperity and am excited steemit seems to be an answer to those prayers! <3

Thanks for your thoughts. Keep up the good work. I have had some similar healing. I also noticed on another post that you are a medium. You should write about that. I'd be interested to see what that is like for you. You might even be able to come up with a catchy slogan that people would want to read and up-vote. You're a good writer, so get some pictures in there to tell your story. I think people would want to hear.

Cool idea :) Thank you!

So nice of you. Thanks for sharing your beautiful views @peacefulpresents

I just noticed I commented on here last year. How funny. Well, I was just checking my feed and noticed you on here. I guess I really am attracted to this stuff, because I liked you both times.
