LAW OF ATTRACTION (OPINION) | Pablomfz

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

Hello! Greetings to the entire Steemit community. I wanted to do a post talking a bit about a law that caught my attention a couple of months ago, it's about the law of attraction, the interest in the subject woke up in my moment of reading a book (I recommend them a lot ) about the topic. This book is "Law of attraction - Dr. Camilo Cruz", all its content, a book that can not think that it is a supposed supernatural law or knows what, but the truth everything has a scientific basis. This law is studied from psychology and biology and that's what I want to talk about in this post.

Basically, it is said that the law of attraction is the "Pseudoscientific" belief that thoughts (be they conscious or unconscious), influence people's lives, arguing that they are energy units that will return a similar energy wave to the person to the one issued. Idea that lacks scientific support.

Define science: "Branch of human knowledge constituted by the set of objective and verifiable knowledge on a given subject that are obtained through observation and experimentation, the explanation of its principles and causes and the formulation and verification of hypotheses and is characterized, in addition , by the use of an adequate methodology for the object of study and the systematization of knowledge. "

Well, so far we have clear that the law of attraction is impossible to give an objective verdict if it is false or true. It happens the same as with religions and deities, scientifically it is impossible to affirm that they exist, but at the same time it is impossible to deny that they exist, leaving it up to each person to decide to believe in what they want to believe, life itself is totally subjective.

"The law of attraction establishes that all of us attract to our life that towards which we constantly focus our thinking. Everything that manifests in our lives, both our achievements, our failures, are the result of everything that has previously manifested in our mind. "

-Dr. Camilo Cruz

There are many myths and errors that surround the law of attraction, the question is, what is fiction and what is true? As is common, we are all intrigued by the idea that there is a formula that allows us to attract success and prosperity to us.

Various studies have shown that the images that we form in the mind are so powerful that they easily manage to provoke responses in the organism, Steven la Berge, a psychology professor at Stanford University, led a large number of experiments that showed that an image in the It actively activates the nervous system in the same way that it would carry out the corresponding action. It was shown that the brain was unable to distinguish between a real experience and a vividly imagined one.

Several scientific studies have shown that there are direct connections between the part of the brain where we store mental images and the nervous system that controls involuntary activities such as breathing, heart rate and blood pressure, in turn is connected to certain glands like The pituitary (Gland responsible for the production and release of hormones that act in different parts of the body, so that a mental image can potentially impact all the cells of the body.

On the other hand, it is incredible that we spend a large part of the day talking to ourselves, our internal dialogue greatly influences our subconscious. It is absurd that many people spend much of their day thinking of hundreds of problems that have not yet happened, but can happen by mentally reviewing their weaknesses, remembering mistakes, past and fallen, rehearsing over and over again the failures they intend to avoid. How to get out of mediocrity like this? We subconsciously program our minds for failure. On a psychological level, what can we expect from our results if we spend 80% of the time dedicating ourselves to focusing on our falls, weaknesses and fears? That which is recorded in our subconscious, has a huge weight in our actions.

One of the most criticizable (and rightly so) of the law of attraction, is that there are people who think that with a thought they will have a miraculous cure, that by thinking positively they would cure a terminal illness, and this, of course, is not A) Yes. Positive thoughts start from our thinking, improve our self-esteem and from that attitude, we will perform the actions that will forge our success. Ourselves, miracles do not exist (At least in my subjective opinion), but what I do believe exists is that thought that works as a spark that creates the combustion that makes us start and put to work. It is not the intention, but the conviction and the decision that gives its great power to the affirmations that we use.

Speaking of the topic of wealth, if you are like me that you are passionate about entrepreneurship and the business issue, remember that everything starts by thinking differently, if you want different results you have to do different things to most, if we constantly think of attracting money , obviously, we will program our mind, we will put it in that correct tuning to see the opportunities that we previously ignored, we will open more the mind and we will take advantage of those things that will take us to where we want to be, always remembering, without action on our part it will not help to imagine driving a Ferrari, there is a big difference between spending a dreaming life and in the end doing nothing, having a dream, making a decision and carrying out actions to make it happen, everything starts with a dream, but without action on our part we will not move.

I will leave the subject until here since it really is something very extensive, I wanted to expose my point, I think the law of attraction is very interesting and I think it is true as far as psychology is concerned, I think we can use it in different areas of our life, to give an example, I practice parkour and freerunning, if I'm going to make a backward somersault for example, and since before jumping I visualize myself with my face on the ground and I think I am incapable of doing such acrobatics, most likely I end up with my face on the ground, but if on the other hand, I execute the jump with determination and confidence, I greatly increase the chance of success, since all the muscles of my body are controlled by the nervous system and This in turn connected to my thoughts.

I would like to know what you think about it, it seems an interesting topic, I would like to clarify that I am an atheist and I do not have any belief in deity or religion, absolutely nothing paranormal, therefore I like to analyze these things as objectively as possible. I await your comment, greetings! :)
