The Owl and the Whale.
Hello Steemians. This looks like a fantstic community and platform to share our adventures together. After taking a good look around and doing our research it appears the first move is an 'Introduce Yourself' post, so here goes.

We are a couple based in Brighton, UK. Our shared passions for concious lifestyle choices, including cooking with plants and moving our bod's has driven us toward setting up life together in a van. Wooo! Exciting and a little daunting all at once. Van Life here we come!

Here's Adelaide, the beautiful 21yo bean.

Aside from a spot of modelling, Adelaide's a bit of a clever cookie, having just finished her degree in Human Geography and International Development at the University of Sussex - and ended up with a First Class classification. Next on her agenda is teaching young people, 11-18yo's to be precise. Adelaide will be undertaking her Post Grad Certificate of Education (PGCE) come September. That means we have until then to find a van, do it up and make it comfortable enough for us both to live in full time. Now you see why I'm daunted. To top it all off Adelaide is currently studying a Skills and Knowledge Enhancement (SKE)course in order to teach more effectively, which means she doesn't have much time on her hands.

I'm a 31yo Physiotherapist working full time in the NHS. As one of the original UK Parkour practitioners, I've used my experience in Parkour to specialise in ill health and injury preventing Physiotherapy and Movement Coaching, which I do privately through my business Physio Prevents. You'll probably have guessed that I don't have much time on my hands either.

Our simple aim is just that. Simplicity. Our desire to live an uncomplicated lifestyle. An extraordinary, ordinary life. And totally real! We try new things, fall down a few times and eventually see progress... just humans humaning!

We hope that you'll join us on our journey as we seek out a van and use our skills and interests to improve the world. We love cooking with plants, moving the bod (acro, yoga, calisthenics, climbing, Jiujitsu etc.)

We hope in what little time we have left, with no experience of van conversions, that we'll be able to manage this big next step toward making our dreams come true. Any and all help from the community will be warmly welcomed.
