Hi all,

I go by the name of Onyx. It was a nickname I was given by some of my InfoSec friends. Aside from my nickname, I'm a 29 year old (Navy Veteran) who is trying to figure out their place on this planet we call Earth. Professionally I work for an InfoSec/Cybersecurity start-up in San Francisco. I love my job, and it's taken me a few years to get to a place where I can comfortably say that. I get to help make the internet a safer place, while teaching others the importance of Information Security in our lives today.

Like many of you, I'm new to steemit. I've been pondering what I would like to do with this medium (no pun intended :-D...). I've decided to finally start a blog about all things learned in the world of crypto. I'm fairly new to crypto and I have friends whose knowledge levels surpass mine. But this seems like the right community to gain and share knowledge. I, like many others are looking for a way to trade (low-risk) while making my money work for itself.
