INTRODUCTION TO STEEMIT: A STORY OF HOW I LOST MY FOURTUNE TO PONZI SCHEMES AND A NEW BEGINING

Hello everybody....... It is nice to be on this great platform. I am an estate surveyor who specializes mainly in buying and selling of lands.

Not until when I first came accross bitcoin in year 2014. I thought it was the normal Nigerian yahoo boys scheme. Not until late 2015 after so much conviction I bought up to 20 bitcoin. With the exception of making more profit. I made a mistake of not understanding the potential of what I was going into. Then at October 2016 I was introduced to MMM Nigeria which I lost a total of 8 million Naira to the scheme. After this loss, I remembered I had some bitcoin which had given me some profits but as at then the price of bitcoin was coming down and I was afraid I would lose the money again. I was mislead by a friend and asked me to invest my $20000 into MPCA (my paying crypto ads) not knowing it was a ponzi scheme in disguise. I lost everything in it as at march 2017. As if that was not enough, I sold some if my properties and I was again mislead and introduced to bitconnect, I invested $3500 which just went down and collopsed despite people called it the future of bitcoin. They said it could hit bitcoin price and I never new it was a manipulated coin with the aim of scamming people. I thought it was the end of life. I felt like commiting succide, I thought I have lost everything and I can't get to recover again. I was like this for a while and up to this moments not until when a friend @dante31 who introduced me to steemit.

I just write this story so that people expecially those new into crypto currency should be careful of not qiving there hard earned money to scams.

LESSON LEARNT

Have a full understanding of what you are going into before thinking of investing.
Never invest all your life saving or all you have because nothing last forever.

Never be greedy and be contended with what you have and the little profit you have made.
Be sure of the investment you are going into, the ico you want to buy and don't be fooled.
Don't always believe in program that have refferal programs, they are basically scams and fraud using people to defraud people.
Never trust the promoters of this schemes, they invest as little as $100 and lure you to invest higher.
Be careful!!!! Be wise!!!! Make profit......
