What it takes to happiness...
Hey fitness and travel lovers, it's me, Notyourgirl.
I was inactive for a longer time now and wanted to tell you why this happend.
I struggled how to manage things the right way and to learn to follow your passion.
It's hard to realise what your passion is when leaving school and having no idea where to go. It took me a year to decide what I wanted to be. Happy !
During this gap year I backpacked around the world, met new people and realised that happyness only depends on you.
The most important two moments of this process were once after my Thailand trip and one day in Finland.
This one moment after my Thailand trip:
I traveled to Thailand with my boyfriend. In this holiday I learnd a lot about not taking things so seriously and about having more trust in your own ability. At home I struggled why back in Thailand everything was more carefree. And I realised that it's not the place or the people giving you that feeling of being carefree. It's your attitude.
That might sound weird because everybody thinks he knows that. But if your totaly into your stressed everyday life it could happen that you forget about the most simple things in life.
I learned to focus myself on the simple things that you would think everybody knows.
Because these things are the ones the most people forget about.
Just breathing in and out and appreciating your life.
This one moment in Finland:
I was in a little cottage in the middle of nowhere. It was a in the middle of a nationalpark without any person around you except the people in this cottage.
When you stay in such a place you really have nothing to do. Nothing !
And you start doing really nothing.
It's crazy that in this moment I realised that I have never felt to calm in the last years than in this moment.
Natur gives you calmness. You just have to take it.
Having the ability to just sit down and think about nothing and talk about nothing and just do nothing special, that's what special about life.
I realised:
You don't have to be stressed. Stress is just made up by yourself.
