I'm new to the community!

I'm already late to the party but i only discovered this platform a couple of days ago. Being my first post i don't want to bore people but knowing me and my interest will give you a good idea of the type of content i will be posting.

About me! (if you're still here)

I've been interested in getting my thoughts out on the WWW instead of keeping them bottled up in my head but haven't found the right platform until now. Anyway let me tell you about me, i enjoy browsing news sites every morning to see what anarchy has happened overnight and what injustices have been bestowed on the good people. My opinions are not exactly PC (politically correct) shall we say but unlike the mainstream media of today i will not sugarcoat my opinions to protect people's feelings. I would have called my account "myuncensoredthoughts" only there wasn't enough space. Putting myself out there is hard for me but this community seems mature and capable of entertaining different opinions without accepting it. 

I also watch movies mainly the horror/thriller type though lately the selection of good movies has been poor to say the least. I may also publish my thoughts on movies i watch from time to time. I play video games especially strategy games on the computer and shooters on the consoles.

Anyway that is me in a nutshell, i am looking forward to getting involved within this community. Below is a brainteaser that the steemit community might like to try and solve.

A very old man died and left instructions in his will as to who would inherit his fortune. His will stated that the man's two sons should have a horse race from their home to the edge of town and whoever's horse came in last would inherit the fortune. 

The race commenced but after three days both sons had only gone less than one third of the way. A wise man was visiting the area when he heard about the race and realising that neither son would want to come first and lose the fortune, he saw an opportunity to make some money. 

He went out and met the sons who were racing along at an incredibly slow pace and offered them a solution to their problem for a reward. Both sons realised that it would be better to part with some of the fortune than receive none, so they agreed to pay the wise man a reward if he could provide a solution that would work. 

The wise man told them his solution and the sons raced off as fast as they could to reach the edge of town. What did the wise man tell them?
