Introduction time !
I figured i should post something rather than just letting the account sit on the beginning page !
I am not a social media guru by any means, so i am sure all this will be a challenge for me.
I build things with other things, and dabble in other things too ! I hope to share past, present, and future builds and projects here. I have always thought "If i can do it, so can anyone" as i am not special to anyone but my mom LOL.
Seeing other build things in person, or on the internet, photographs, whatever always encouraged me to push outside my limits and comfort zone. If this can help someone else, or even if people just happen to like what i do, i will consider it a win.
What do i build ? what project ?
Usually i do not know until i begin.
Often times i have general ideas. They could come from a bit of over consumption of adult beverage, could be come from seeing something else and wanting to do my own spin on it, could even be a project that i want to do to gain confidence and skill for yet another project, and my least favorite projects are the ones out of necessity, like the two summers i spent doing paint and body work on one of my cars.
I do not have a specific area of interest that i study, i am more of revolving dabbler. I will find an area and run with it, then just like Forrest Gump, i get tired of running and just STOP. There is usually a return over time, but the stop is real.
I work with paint which includes airbrushing, pin striping, full on autobody painting, and house wall painting.
I work with steel. Hand forming, welding, fabricating.
I work with glass. Etching, drilling, cutting.
I work with reptiles. This is one that has been a reasonable constant in my life for 30+ years. Presently keep and breed ackie monitor lizards.
I work with wood. Wood has always been intimidating to me, so i thrust myself into projects with wood from time to time to work past it. I have a great honor right now to be working on a project with my step dad, which is a skilled wood worker (more on that in future postings).
I hope this all is a decent first post, it's all i have right now :)
I do not like my picture taken, and seeing one of me is pretty much like a bigfoot sighting. rare.!
Tie fighter is not my build, but i had to have a photo of it for future reference.
i have a lot of photos for future reference, and believe i have more projects i want to do,
than i have life to do them in.22773510_10209731642357086_1943522700_n.jpg

Warm welcome to you @mysticspark. Newbie to this community also. Still learning the ropes. Good thing about the steemit platform is that the community is very optimistic and helpful. Amazing, you work with reptiles, I can see you have lots of stuffs/work going on. This is the right place to learn, share your work/passion for all of us to benefit. Keep learning, keep posting.
