A brief intro to a young Entreprenur, Engineer, Parkour & Martial arts practicioner.
Hey steemers! My name is Muaz from Manchester, UK. I'm a 22 years young person that came across this new platform through word of mouth. Anyways, I decided to put a brief intro to myself and the title is not a clickbait and also not to brag,
these are some of the skills that I have gathered through years of having as much experiences and meeting new people as I possibly can to find my natural talents and push my boundaries and the goal of this post is to hopefully inspire some people in this community to go out there and find their strength instead of finding new Pokemons :).
With that being said, I decided to find how bad I'm at writing/blogging by writing this post and getting feedback from all of you to hopefully polish my writing skills a little bit.
What I Do
Career wise: I do a mix of stuff, even though I just graduated and got an awesome degree in Mechanical Engineering at a relatively difficult university, I've been involved in some Entrepreneurial projects to support myself through the years of my full time education. And these consist mainly through online work such as selling physical products online on Amazon and shopify. And also offline working as a client consultant helping local businesses create extra revenue through some strategic marketing I learned through the years.
Now enough of the career talk, because what I enjoy most is actually is extreme sports that forces adrenaline to rush through my blood when It's time to practise, and some of you guessed it, its Parkour and Martial arts tricking.
Both which are considered to be very new sports (alongside breakdancing which isn't my cup of tea), anyways these sports require four main things from any practisioner:
- Physical strength
- Mental strength
- Technique
- Longterm commitment
- and the list goes on and on but these are the most important
These skills helped me significantly because they spread into many other areas in my life, wether be career, education, or social.
I wanted to make this post longer, but some people told me I have ADD and that I can't keep my focus on for a long time. I would love to get everyone constructive criticism on improving my writing (and hopefully some thumbs up for my effort).
I'm hoping to add as much value into this community as possible in the near future, stay tuned.
and by the way, this is a video that I produced with my friends about the Parkour community in my city.
