Reintroduction - Let Me Try This Again!

Let me try this again. So I did an introduce yourself post as my first ever post. I’m one of those people that either procrastinates on things until I get into a panic, or jump in whole heartedly and hope for the best. For this I jumped in and I really should have read a bit more before I stepped in and introduced myself properly.

So my name is Erin and originally from Australia. I now live in the UAE as an expat and live what you would call the “expat life”. Believe it or not money was not the first and only reason why we jumped over here... it was more to do with proximity to Europe, but that’s a different story for a different time.

I got onto steemit after my husband suggested it to me. He knew I have a love for writing and had been looking for a bit of motivation. So I had a look through and saw that people comment and acknowledge. Like a lot of people I find it easier to write and let strangers read what I write more than my friends and family. Fear of judgement from those I am close to and people I don’t know don’t feel obligated to actually read it. I also like the content people write here as well - even more of a bonus!

Where I call home for now

So apart from reading and writing, I also enjoy traveling, hence the move to the middle east, photography - so much better when exploring different places, food (I have a bit of a piggy problem), animals (I did some volunteer work years ago with an animal shelter), and I’m a massive coffee fiend!!

To describe myself I would have to say positive, funny, gregarious, energetic, creative and a bit of a dreamer.

On here I want to write about my travels, images that I’ve taken, expat life and experiences that I’ve had and would like to share, the good, the bad and the downright embarrassing.

How I would like to imagine all my Friday nights
