Hi Steemit Community! - Bitshares Introduced Me!!

Folks, this is my Introduction post!

First thing to know about me is that I read. A lot. Audiobooks on my commute, at work, in my bed, buried in the sand - the sand is the best especially when its packed in tight and gives you that "please take the picture and unbury me!" sort of snug cozy feeling; like the Earth is hugging or trying to eat you.

I read because I'm addicted to learning. There seems to be no limit to what we can learn and in this grand information age everything is starting to converge into a greater picture of understanding what it means to be human.

Quite honestly, I would like this first post to be AMAZING! There was an idea that came to my mind as I was writing: "Maybe I could read other peoples posts in the topics I like and tag those posts here!" - So I went out and I read. Those really are the first posts (aside from a few about bitcoin and the recommended posts for beginners of course) that I've read on Steemit.

I have to say, what a diverse group of people we are. Also, how true is it that quality defines the value of your content on here. I'm afraid that maybe my words will trail or that they won't make sense, but that's not what we're here for. We're here to connect. Without people, its just a white background with words and pictures. People create the humanity, heart and desire that is spread across this platform.

So, no, I'm not going to tag a bunch people I don't know because it would be kind of odd to do so, but at the same time, I would rather build those connections genuinely first.

To my new community of fellow Steemians, from the start I intend to speak true and add value to this beautiful blockchain platform. What will I write about? Who will I engage with?
