Hey hey Steemians! (INTRO_POST)

Hey Steemians! Glad to have found this online community, so how did I get here?

A month ago I attended a gathering of like minded people at a friends house. Someone there spoke of how he is living his dream and making money by blogging on Steemit.

It sounded too good to be true, to write about ones passions and interests and to get value by voting. Before this I had never heard of Steemit, but I have been looking for alternative ways to make money and be my own boss essentially.

♧ I am almost a quarter century old, living in the US in Oregon. My time is spent painting mostly watercolors and acrylics, exploring urban spaces or backpacking out into the wilderness and learning tarot reading to aid in self healing
♧I always find a way to connect to Nature and consider myself quite spiritual but not religious ♧ I seek truth and beauty, trying to find my place and peace in this sometimes overwhelmingly chaotic world.
♧I will probably write of philosophy, recipes, frugal living tips, DIY and upcycling clothes, Permaculture and Urban Gardening, Revolution and Societal change, PTSD and processing through dark mental days

Steemit could be revolutionary to how we make money and free us from bonds of conventional capitalism. Thats what I am here for, to be apart of real societal change and actively look for ways to reimagine this world we live in.

I still only have a basic understanding of Bitcoin and how this all works. So I am excited to learn how to make some flow of income through this site.

If anyone has any useful blogs about how to get a better understanding of Steemit I would greatly appreciate it!!
