I'm still in prison, my release date was July 5th, they won't let me out! Part 1

Prison isn't rough the way it is portrayed on Television. It's not as violent as they'd like you to think. The truth however is far worse.... Most of our stress is being away from our families. We convicts have stories. Stories we don't share about our families, our fierce loyalty and our undying love for our family and friends we left behind.

I've been "in" since 2003, and i was in the County Jail since 2000 when I was arrested. Between 2000 and 2003 I was run around the community with my head up my ass. I am not proud to say this but I needed to be put "somewhere." I needed, like many others do, to be taught and shown that I had value and could be a productive member of the community. Unfortunately, those lessons aren't being taught in here or out there. I had to find that myself. Everyone is important and has a part to play. Not everyone likes their part. I'm sorry, but I hate mine!! Still the universe calls us to be great. Something must be done and a discussion is what needs to happen first.

My issues are with the DOJ, the DOC, and the DCC (Division of community Corrections). These government agencies have failed the people of this country in many ways. The most infuriating to me is how year after year Criminal Justice Professors, Law Professors and UNiversity students put together genius proposals that have the latest statistics that they have spent years researching and they are glad handed and made to feel like this new policy will be implemented. Then NOTHING!

We've known for years that solitary confinement is damaging and yet only this year (2016) did the DOC actually implement a change. This is something I feel the government should be ashamed of. . . and maybe they are? Maybe that's why they hide these facts? Either way I will continue to have inmates document their struggles as they are all of our struggles we are so connected b this system that where one individual has an issue it's an issue for us all. I will continue to keep everyone up to date weekly, please remember snail mail has slowed this down considerably! And please be aware that this could be shut down at any time because it is a threat to the security of the Department. That must mean if we're talking smack about the system we are a threat!? No freedom of speech?

Everything in prison has rules. What I can receive, to how much. I have not included all of these rules, yet ( if there's an interest I can explain in full) Additionally, every inmate in the state has these restrictions. Rules in here govern inmates style of hair, clothing (size, color, quantity), shoes, glasses, food(purchased through canteen), publications, how many letters I can have(we're not allowed to be sentimental-or keep more than 25 old letters), I cannot marry anyone without there approval, my visitors are screened, the visits are supervised and there are no conjugal visits in Wisconsin! Even if you are a newlywed!

The easiest way for this to happen is for donations to be collected on this site from you people who value my contributions. My awesome brother can print off and send me responses as well as invest any funds and maximize our potential. Ultimately, I'd like to get an attorney to help me and time is of the essence as the courts have deadlines I must make. Any donations made beyond these needs will go towards "getting me on my feet" once I "hit the streets" and then I'd like to reimburse my family, who has supported me for 15 years! and last but not least, if some eccentric individuals would donate gobs of capital I would love to donate some to other charities like domestic violence shelters and the disabled community, and animal shelters because in my heart of hearts I love you all and I want to give back to my community.

But first things first, I'm going to need a lawyer. Could you maybe help me?
