My first #introduceyourself post!

Hello Steemit friends,

My steemit name is Wasabi. I grew up in Hong Kong and later moved to Canada when I was 18. I am a little shy, usually not very good at expressing myself. My work life is pretty boring so I’m going to talk about something else :wink: :

In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games – Overcooked is my most recent favourite! I also like some other games such as Horizon and Ninokuni.

I also like to explore new recipes. I’ve just finished brewing my first batch of Kombucha – a fizzy acidic drink that made from fermented sweet tea. It tastes a little weird... but very refreshing!

Aside from games and foods, I like to DIY and learn all sort of ‘hacks’ and tricks of home organization and décor. I am very pound of my kitchen cabinet makeover – I spent less than $100 dollars turning my plain white kitchen cabinets into fancy marble and walnut theme.

I’ve always into cryptocurrency and love the idea of decentralized platform (even though I actually work at a bank…). Few years ago my boyfriend (now husband) bought me to a small local poker tournament which the prize was bitcoins. I was so lucky that day I actually won a fraction of a bitcoin. Since then I’ve been paying attention to the crypto community. I really like Steemit because it’s a decentralized sharing platform that got Whales, Dolphins, and Minnows!

              Hello Wassabi! Welcome to Steemit!
              Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

              Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
