I am Mintgumchewer from Hong Kong. Nice to see you guys here. It's my pleasure to be in this big group sharing different inspiring ideas and thoughts.
I am a freelance fashion designer, have worked in fashion Marketing field before. I am also a movie lover, I would like to share movies in my fav list to you all. And hope that you can have some time to watch it. Let me know how do you feel about that too! I will of course share thoughts regarding fashion and cultural issues to you guys no doubts. Let's have deep discussions and exchange ideas with each others.

It has always been my dream to be a designer. I used to make dresses for fashion competition in high school and I like to mix and match a lot before, though not everyone likes what I chose to wear (lol). It appears to me now that people are less keen on wearing clothes that can represent their own characters, they tend to follow what the majority is wearing or what the chain stores are selling. Yes, what I am gonna say is that being a fashion designer now to me is a much more different thing from what I used to think it would be like. It's more like acting a wheel in a big truck, kinetically moving the whole industry forward, just on a track that you may not agree with. (At least to me, I am still uncertain about the big direction) But I still would like to make some changes, to influence some one, maybe it's gonna be you! Lol who knows.

It will be a great experience interacting with people, and enjoying the process of being changed and changing things. Let's both learn more and explore more together on this platform!

I will share some more articles about fashion / art / movie, anythings that nurtures our life in the future. Look forward to it, you may find yourself getting more into my stories. (Hope so)

成為一個設計師一直都是我的夢想，高中的時候已經有開始作衣服參加比賽，也常常自己亂配搭衣服，老實說不是人人都會看懂我那種style啦（吐舌），但畢竟那時候的我是很開心的，能穿自己喜歡的衣服。反觀今天街上的人，好像沒從前對於自己要穿什麼那麼有主見，基本上時尚流行的東西都定了型，大家就穿連鎖店會大賣的東西。（當然也有一些忠於自己的人一直只穿某些衣服我是支持的，自己喜歡就好）不必說明也知道全球化或者網絡普及也對整個時尚潮流影響不淺吧。這也某程度上破滅了從前的我對於成為一個時裝設計師的幻想，現實是好像每個角色都變作一個沉悶的生產單位，推著「時尚」向前走，正在前往一個我不確定是好是壞的方向。儘管它有壞影響，到今天為止，我仍舊想參與其中，且看我能影響什麼，改變什麼。
