I worked on identifying sources of fecal contamination in groundwater. In the coming weeks and months I will be posting about my unpublished method for differentiating Bacteroides 16S rRNA sequences from different animals. You might find it interesting and useful for your work. I am retired and I have many unfinished projects and unpublished data that someone like you and your colleagues might carry forward. I will be glad to share advice from my experiences.
