New In Town: An Introductory Story.
Very many years after the Second World War, the only boy child born of a sweet and loving mother who was married to a brilliant old man that hails from a little town in Delta state, Nigeria by an Anglican priest, was born into this violent world on a cold Monday morning and grew up to become this non athletic charming young man, a big lover of art and fashion and a firm believer that they can compliment each other every step of the way.
It is extremely ironic that a serial narcissist is having some difficulty coming up with an introductory story especially being that most of what he's good at is portraying himself as a demigod. Why won't he experience difficulty, when instead of aiming for consistency, he wants perfection? This was his big problem. He would spend many hours complaining on how he could have done better on this and that, completely disregarding how well he had actually done. Still he remains an arrogant fuck. Nobody likes an arrogant fuck!
Very recently and very uncharacteristically, he sees things from a different light, taking pleasure in becoming better and helping people become better.
"Have you heard about steemit?" @addempsea asked just as I stopped paying attention to the rather very uninteresting lecture that was ongoing at the time and under the glow of the intense Western Nigerian sunshine. The tall slim lecturer had nothing else to say than read from the lecture note which we already had. I could have sworn I shouted "Wakanda rubbish is this?" in my head, apparently!
Most of our lecturers did this and it made going to class feel like the worst thing in the world.
Nonetheless, I and a few buddies, we attended every class or at least most of them. We hardly ever listened though.
I had started to question myself of why the hell we had to take a course in Law, being engineering students.
I hated every minute of that lecture. I suppose it's safe to say the question came just in time
"No, What is it about? " I asked. Of course I recognised he had been hammering about it for some weeks now. Listening to anything else but somebody preaching about a certain doctrine of "stare-decisis" or some concept of Judicial precedent was better for me at this point. "Judy can suck my big beautiful balls" I murmured!
"You are definitely new in town, but not for long" he replied with a sarcastic smile and the rest is history.
He was right about every bit of that statement. I am New in this Town, however, I do not intend to remain so for long.
My introductory story would not be complete if i fail to mention that i happen to be good with my hands.
