Birds of the South, the Roseate Spoonbill

I took a trip out to Seven Sisters in Homosassa the other day not for anything in particular I just wanted to enjoy my day out in nature like I always do. I found this neat spot where some Roseate Spoonbills were chillin by. I took an interest to taking a quick photo of the scene after I hiked some of the trail here.

The point of this post is to show my two styles of editing photos. On the left I show my minimalistic style approach to editing, while on the right side I displayed a more vibrate an uplifting edit. I have a lot of fun editing in either style but at least you will see how I decide to go forward when I take on my next project.

Now a quick fact about these birds, they are much like flamingos in that their color comes from their age, location, and most primarily their diet. These birds eat small fish, crustaceans, and certain plants. In Florida their biggest predator is going to be the alligator, but if you’re in Texas, their biggest predator is yo mama 😊
