The about me topic: a classic first post of a newbie and completely lost steemian!

Hi Steemit community! I'm so happy to finally be part of it! I've been here just for few hours and already found so many nice things and people.. I´m really excited for this community to grow. Looking forward to connecting with you!

My name is Mayara Garcia, so I made of my nickname – @maygarcia - my steemit account. I'm from Brazil, more precisely from Florianópolis, a small island in the south of the country with a population of approximately 600 thousand people.

I'm 31 years old, and my son, Ian, is at the age of 9. Our familly still includes my boyfriend, Diego, who cares a lot with me and my son and is the most special person in the world <3, and our newest puppy Jujuba, who loves to bite everything she sees everywhere.. everytime.

My hobbies are to travel, to go to the beach, to sing (I'm the best in Katy Perry songs), to dance (Have u already heard of Sertanejo?!), to sew clothes (skirts.. I love skirts) and to study (Yes I love to study!!!), but, in fact, I don’t have much time to enjoy all of them, ‘cause I work and study a lot. I’m a nurse, working in the Organ’s donation and transplantation área. Also, I’m in the middle of MSc in health informatics, so I have tones and tones of reading needs and no time to sew or to sing.. I would Love to have a day with 50 hours. Can someone help me with this?!

Welcome Mayara!! If you're looking to put MORE hours in your day, I think you've come to the wrong place dear. My day seemed to get about 6 hours shorter after discovering Steemit :P

Any way, maybe it's different for others! Welcome, hope you enjoy

Welcome to the community Mayara, glad to have you aboard. This definitely won't help you save time, but it may help you share some of the knowledge you are learning along the way. As they say (whoever they are), the best way to learn something is to teach it to others.
