Hey You! I am Marc co-founder of Equibit and a Programming Guru

Let's start things off quickly, then get to details.

I am a co-founder and CTO of a company called Equibit Development Corp which is a decentralized OTC securities platform company using blockchain technology.

I have been doing programming for over 20 years, everything from robotic and artificial intelligences to plain old websites.

I have some small research publications from my university days.

I have competed in the Computer Olympiad 3 times and got 3rd place each time in Computation Pool (billiards type not swimming type).

I have owned and operated several companies, some I started, many I bought and reformed before selling.

I am an atheist, anarchist (the an-cap variety) and kind of a jerk to those who deserve it.

I am married to my amazing beautiful and intelligent wife Shannon and together we have a son named Elliott.

What am I doing now?

Well we are in the stages of testing Equibit's system and the mining takes a long time. So I ordered some equipment that I wanted to play with that would help in the process. I ordered a rack mountable 40 raspberry pi case from bitscope (see this). 40 raspberry pi 3 to go with it and some other support equipment. With this I will build a small beowulf cluster (bramble) to mine our equibits. We are using a non-asic hash.

The pi 3 is pretty new and well worth it. Comes with a quad-core 1.2GHz cpu and a 12 thread 400MHz GPU. I always wanted to build my own cluster.

I will post specific details about the build as I progress but right now I am still waiting for parts, as I research how to access the GPU on them.
